A blog is an easy-to-use web site, where you can quickly post thoughts; interact with people, and more.

For many people it’s a diary, a place to post thoughts and or day to day happenings. It’s been estimated that there are anything between eight and thirty million blogs.  Creating a blog is no more difficult than registering for an email address. All you have to do is sign up with a blog host, pick a name and you are ready to start.

Blogspot is perhaps the oldest blog site. www.blogspot.com Some sites offer FREE blogs. Others offer advert free blogs for which there is a cost.

• Can help to reach to as many people as possible – share experiences
• Can raise the profile of your organisation/work and the reality of day to day life
• Can act as an outlet for your thoughts, frustrations, hopes and plans
